Weighing in at only 38 pounds, and inflating in just a few minutes, this boat is portable & light enough to carry it into the backcountry or places less traveled. Boasting a solid carry capacity of just over 600 pounds, together with Maxxon's Gear Tie-down System (GTS), makes it the perfect exploration companion for extended water adventures. With its two-chamber, 1100 denier hull, and tube diameter of just under 18 inches, this craft can brave any water you have the skill to navigate.
Our Gear Tie-down System was designed to maximize attachment points around the easily accessible parts of the WIGEON. Unlike other rafts that only offer a few D-rings for attachment points, Maxxon's GTS allows for easy customization options to fit your individual needs. Attaching the included accessories, like the cargo webbing, offers a way to secure added storage behind the seat. While the removable stripping apron can help keep fly-line manageable, it can also be used as a workspace or even a snack table. The adjustable foot strap can be used to assist in rowing, hold your feet up out of the water, or it can also be attached to the GTS and used as a carry handle. The possibilities are endless!
When fully deflated and packed down, the entire unit with included accessories, stores inside its roll-top backpack. The Maxxon WIGEON easily transports almost anywhere, and is small enough to fit two of them in the trunk of most compact vehicles.
